TT / Power key
Our multilayered safety system starts and ends with the power key. The power key is used to activate the electrical system of the board, but also functions as a kill switch to immediately stop the board if you fall off. Our safety sensor system continually monitors the temperature, energy consumption, and overall condition of the board. Gyro technology monitors orientation, so if the board flips upside-down, it shuts off automatically.
Inside the Awake batteries there's a sophisticated battery management system or "BMS" which monitors the batteries to prevent overheating or cells becoming unbalanced. The BMS also observes and balances the battery cells during charging to ensure long battery life.
In conclusion, everything we create is made with safety as a primary focus.
