Hardware Electronics Engineer
As Hardware Electronics Engineer at Awake, you will be part of a talented and enthusiastic mechatronics team of approximately seven individuals. Within this team, you will work in cross-functional projects, hence you will gain insights, and be given opportunities to contribute beyond your primary area of expertise. You will take responsibility with pride and make sure your sub-projects are on track and executed effectively. While operating at a high pace of development, a mixture of rapid prototyping and computational simulation is applied. The job role requires both a structured and strategic way of working, but also spending time in the lab for soldering, component testing, designing and evaluation. Getting your fingers dirty and going out for product testing should be seen as a benefit, not an issue.

The main task is to engineer and evaluate a fully functional electrical drive system which can be adapted and applied to any electrical craft constructed by the Company.

We see that you ideally have more than two years of experience of working in a larger organization, most likely in a position within the department of research and development, from which you bring a strong sense of structure and process-oriented thinking. You have a degree in Electrical Engineering or within the following areas: Systems, control, automation and robotics or vehicle engineering.
